Nigeria’s security service (DSS) have retreated from the National Assembly.
DSS laid siege to the complex early on Tuesday in apparent bid to stop Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators and reps from meeting with Senate President Bukola Saraki who the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) reportedly wants impeached.
DSS operatives left the assembly gate at 2:49pm barely an hour after Acting President Yemi Osinbajo fired Lawal Daura, the director-general over of the security agency.
Osinbajo is Ag President. Got wind of plots being hatched with the DSS. Called DG DSS & told him to stay off. Those that own the Presidency told Daura to ignore & proceed with plans. Daura proceeded.
Ag President won't brook insubordination.
You're fired. MB's move. Proxy wars.

The operatives initially stopped lawmakers from entering the National Assembly Complex but later allowed entrance after a face-off with Honourable Boma Goodhead from Rivers State.
