Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, is being questioned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Premium Times is reporting.
Ekweremadu reportedly arrived EFCC’s Abuja office before 10am on Tuesday.
“He is currently at the interrogation room,” a source is quoted to have said.
“We have some questions for him bordering on corruption,” another source said.
“We do not know yet when he would be released, we will know this by 5pm,” the source was quoted to have said.
EFCC laid a siege to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker’s home last week.
