Gombe State governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has signified intention to run for the office of the president.
He, on Saturday, said he made the decision “after wide consultations with party members and Nigerians of diverse backgrounds”.
Dankwambo, 56, is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where the likes of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Sokoto governor Aminu Tambuwal, Senate President Bukola Saraki among others would be hoping to emerge the party’s presidential candidate.
